Federal Legislation

To serve the millions of patients in need of our services, the American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AAAOM) will submit legislation that mandates access to the federal healthcare system. Healthcare is evolving and it is essential that acupuncture and Oriental medicine be included as part of these changes.

Draft Bills

This is an exceptional opportunity for all of us to be a part of history and further define our healthcare system.

Some state acupuncture and Oriental medicine associations have fully endorsed these federal initiatives. We invite all other state associations to join us so that licensed acupuncturists will receive the national and legislative recognition that they deserve.

The Arizona Society of Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture fully endorses the AAAOM and supports our actions to have licensed acupuncturists recognized nationally and legislatively.

The Montana Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine supports and endorses the AAAOM proposed federal legislation.

The Ohio Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine fully endorses the amendments proposed by the AAAOM.
