Acupuncture has been used in China for thousands of years to treat a variety of human ailments. It's a technique where fine, sterile needles are inserted into the skin and underlying tissues called points which stimulate the central nervous system to promote self healing. Over the past 10 years, acupuncture is gaining popularity for the treatment of pet ailments from musculoskeletal pain to cancer.
