--A NOTE FROM THE AAAOM PRESIDENT ON THE FIRST PROFESSIONAL DOCTORATE---

Colleagues,

I want to clarify some of the offensive inaccuracies that have been circulated in recent emails. The AAAOM has not taken a final position on the current stage of the First Professional Doctorate (FPD) standards document. That position, like all positions taken by AAAOM, will be the result of formal action and communication by the Board of Directors (BOD). As the President of the AAAOM for the past two years, I can assure the community that the AAAOM BOD will not be influenced by negative or biased personal or organizational attacks.
