Past, Present, & Future

Colleagues and Friends,

AAAOM is at the end of a long but rewarding organizational turn-around and sits on the precipice of incredible developments and opportunities for our field. These career-altering opportunities have emerged as the result of effective communication, increased professional unity and respect, and the acquisition of top notch talent to fill key staff and volunteer roles in our organization.

With nearly 54 million people now covered by Essential Health Benefits, a scientific journal nearly indexed in Medline, educational wins across the country, and a budding professional staff, we have created the foundation of an infrastructure that promises a bright future for your professional association. Our community deserves minimally equal opportunities for success and recognition alongside other healthcare professions. Through the professional doctorate, national public awareness, federal and state legislative advocacy, and the unwavering leadership of your professional association, these opportunities will soon be a reality for all.

Uniting on behalf of our patients will allow us to continue this success. Our most vital asset is our membership base. We all want our voices to be heard. We ask each of you to take the initiative in growing our community by bringing your colleagues and patients in as AAAOM members. Based on this kind of support, we will be able to execute on exciting soon-to-be-announced initiatives the AAAOM is planning for our members and patients.

I remain committed to building our community and furthering our cause. Please join me in supporting our AAAOM and investing in a brighter today and tomorrow.

Michael Jabbour, MS, LAc

President, AAAOM Board of Directors
