Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts is currently seeking a full-time faculty member in both the didactic and clinical programs. Herbal medicine will be a required part of the teaching hours.

Daoist Traditions College is located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Asheville North Carolina. Our vision statement is: “ Daoist Traditions is a center of educational excellence, cultivating the next generation of teachers and leaders within the field of Oriental Medicine”. The college is known for its academically rigorous and transformative curriculum, its service to the community, and its exemplary leadership in Oriental Medicine education. Currently we offer three programs:

Master’s Degree in AOM

Dual Master’s/Professional Doctorate in AOM

Chinese Herbal Medicine Certificates

Our faculty consists of practicing clinicians who bring their real life professional experience into the classroom and clinic. Daoist Traditions College is seeking an individual holding a NCCAOM certification in herbology with a minimum of five years experience as a practitioner as well as teaching experience. A doctoral degree is preferred but not required. The professional should have a deep appreciation for Chinese medicine, a history of contributing positively to a mission-focused culture and strong sense of community.
